- Según informe de Osiptel, el 5 de junio se alcanzaron 947 mil líneas móviles fraccionadas. De acuerdo a un análisis de la empresa, el 43% de ese total corresponden a clientes de Movistar y el resto se corresponde a los demás operadores móviles.
Movistar informó que ha atendido las necesidades de sus clientes y ha fraccionado más de un millón 200 mil recibos impagos -entre servicios móviles y fijos- a quienes en estos momentos no tienen posibilidades de pagar por los servicios. Es importante mencionar que el fraccionamiento que ofrece la compañía se puede dar hasta por doce meses y no comprende intereses, moras o algún otro tipo de penalidad.
Si bien en un inicio un número reducido de usuarios se acogió al fraccionamiento, se ha visto un considerable aumento de estas solicitudes en los últimos días solo en el caso del servicio móvil, de acuerdo a cifras de OSIPTEL. Según el regulador, el 29 de mayo hubo 800 mil líneas móviles fraccionadas, y el pasado 6 de junio estas aumentaron a 947 mil. Cabe destacar que el 43% de esta última cifra representa 403 mil líneas móviles de Movistar y el resto se reparte entre los demás operadores móviles, de acuerdo a un análisis interno.
“Agradecemos y reconocemos el compromiso de los millones clientes que han cumplido con pagar oportunamente sus recibos, pues con ello han contribuido en mantener, en medio de las tremendas circunstancias, la cadena de pago. A todos ellos les pedimos continuar con ese compromiso”, señaló Pedro Cortez, Presidente Ejecutivo de Telefónica del Perú.

Asimismo, Movistar anunció que el cliente que considere pasar a un servicio con otras prestaciones y con un menor costo, puede acceder a la app Mi Movistar para concretarlo de forma remota. Esta decisión la tomará cada cliente de acuerdo a la perspectiva de su respectiva economía familiar.
“Son tiempos difíciles para millones de peruanos. Esta situación nos ha evidenciado con mayor notoriedad que ser un país digital no es una opción sino una vía de solución para la reactivación económica”, sostuvo Cortez.
